How do you Foodies season your burgers? Please respond, I would love to have some new suggestions. This is my mushroom swiss burger. I grill my burgers; as always, with Worcestershire sauce and some lemon pepper seasoning. (That is how my grandma Patty cooks them.) Then I make a packet of mushroom gravy and add a large jar of mushrooms to that. I grill the burger assemble it and pour the mushroom sauce over it before I put on the top bun. I make bacon cheeseburgers, patty melts, and BBQ burgers also. But, I would really love any new ideas. Teenage boys and summertime...need I say more.
Have a great weekend!
Next weekend summer kicks off with Memorial Day! Yaaa!
I will link this to Michael's Foodie Friday at her site Designs by Gollum. Please go to her site and view all the great food!
Yum, yum, yum!
ReplyDeleteSherry, Don't mess with something that isn't broken! These look spectaclar. When I saw the picture I actually said, "OOOOOOOHHHH!". I would serve these just as is ( maybe a little cheese)!
ReplyDeleteAnd they are easy to do too. That's what I love, easy and good.

Looks like a great summer dish!!
ReplyDeleteI love to add herb steak seasoning to hamburger. Gives it a little kick. This looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteYummers!
ReplyDeleteI don't season my (vegie/boca)burgers much. But mushroom gravy sounds great to me; I shall try that next time.
ReplyDeleteYour burgers look lovely. When I'm in a rush, I sometimes use Montreal Steak Seasoning instead of individual herbs and spices in my burgers and everyone raves about them. It's a big cheat, but it does work!!
ReplyDeleteOh, my...I LOVE BURGERS and your mushroom creation looks heavenly. We pretty much stick to sea salt, fresh cracked pepper, garlic powder & worcestershire sauce. Hubby has taken to making me blue burgers -- stuffed with blue cheese :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
