For the first time, my New Dawn climbing rose has bloomed. I got it last year at Walmart. They will often have old rose varieties that are really affordable.
It has a fruity, heavenly scent that reminds me of honeysuckle.
I was really excited to see how heavy it bloomed.
I put together a bouquet of some bachelor's buttons.
This whole corner of the garden is so pretty this time of year and smells divine.

Divine! How lovely it is to watch it grow and develop, I have neither a house nor a garden and can only marvel at the beauty. Hug!
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely on that decorative fence! Your garden pictures always inspire me!

ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful roses! I love climbing flowers. Have a blessed weekend ahead my Friend. xo
ReplyDeleteThe bouquet with the bachelor’s buttons is beautiful too since the colours balance each other so naturally. This post captures that quiet joy gardeners feel when a plant finally settles in and rewards the patience put into it. I recently shared a new post on my blog too and would love for you to stop by and read it www.melodyjacob.com
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. Thank you for sharing, and warm greetings from a retired lady living in Montreal, Canada.
