DIY: Lavender "Tub Tea"

DIY: Lavender Tub Tea
In the July/August issue of Martha Stewart Living there is a wonderful article about a weekend gardener that ended up with more lavender plants than she knew what to do with. This weekday professional began moonlighting as an herb farmer and made some delightful discoveries along the way.  One of her great DIY recipes is for Lavender "Tub Tea."

The lavender oil helps you relax and it's all tied up in a little sachet to drop in the tub while you're drawing a bath.  For this recipe using the lavender-infused oil go to:

You can find other uses for lavender and more in the July/August issue of Martha Stewart Living available at the newsstands and now the iPad.

I saw that article in MSL, Sherry. Lisa McPherson's farm looks amazing; I'd love to have a complete tour of it. I hope to plant lavender in my new garden next year. It's so pretty. Have a great week! ~ Nancy

I always grow lavender in my window boxes hoping to use them for sachets someday. This is a brilliant idea too! Thanks for sharing.
