Festive Tea

A Festive Tea: The Charm of Home
Tea will be with a little wrapping of presents this week with festive colors and patterns.

A Festive Tea: The Charm of Home
My Northwood Cottage mug is by 222 Fifth.

A Festive Tea: The Charm of Home
The treat with tea is some store bought pizzelles.  My kids love these things.

A Festive Tea: The Charm of Home
Check out this beautiful frosted candle with the fragrance of vanilla & frankincense.  It smells heavenly.  I found that at the Dollar General Store of all places.  It smells and looks expensive but it was only $5!
Hope you are having a lovely week!

Sherry, that is a very attractive mug! You always know how to take a simple tea time and turn it into a wow factor. I've never had a pizzelle.
I wonder if it is spicy as well as pretty.

Christmas blessings,
Sandi

Sherry, what a lovely post this morning! I may have to go and find me one of those candles. Thanks for the info. I hope that you have a wonderful day!!!

That is one beautiful mug! I will be making over 250 pizzelles this weekend if all goes well. I make mine anise flavored but it also calls for a bit of lemon, orange and vanilla extracts as well. I put anise seeds in a mortar and smash them a bit to release the flavor, then add anise extract as well. I will set up my portable dvd player and play my favorite Christmas movies while making them since I can only make two at a time. Well worth it.
