Berry Season

Berry Season: The Charm of Home
It is always a welcome relief when spring gets here.  Things get easier.  You no longer have to bundle the kids up in heavy coats and boots.  You can just slip a light jacket on them; when summer arrives it is even better, no jacket and flip flops!

Berry Season: The Charm of Home
The same thing goes for the food.  When the seasonal berries start arriving in the grocery store you can just cut them up and toss them on a slice of angel food cake.  How easy is that? If there are some pretty flowers in your yard that are edible add that too and it will look like a feast for the gods.

Who doesn't like food that looks as pretty as it is good for you?  These horizontal pics make good screen savers too. :)

We still have a bit of snow on the ground here, Sherry, but I am dreaming of flip flop weather and I can almost taste your delicious berries! :)
