A Perfect Pairing

Valentine's Day Tea, The Charm of Home

The perfect pair for Valentine's Day is often roses and chocolate.  Here I created another perfect pair to serve my chocolate drizzled on the peanut butter cookies.

Valentine's Day Tea, The Charm of Home
I have never tried chocolate drizzled on the peanut butter cookies like this but, it was a major hit!

Valentine's Day Tea, The Charm of Home
Ohh! To have some beautiful flowers to stare at during these wintry days!! It does something good for your soul to stop and smell the roses!

Valentine's Day Tea, The Charm of Home
Here is my newest teacup find form the thrift stores.  This is a Johnson Brothers pattern called Coronado.

Valentine's Day Tea, The Charm of Home
I found a whole stack of these dishes at the thrift store on clearance for $1.  If the stack has attractive teacups in it that are in good condition I am always willing to get them!   I will share the cookie recipe tomorrow.

Oh my godness, Sherry, what a beautiful set of dishes you found for a dollar! And they're JB too! Love the teacup. The chocolate drizzled on that cookie makes it look so tempting. Love your spray roses. I wish they would carry them here. They dry beautifully too. Thanks for joining me for Tea Time and have a lovely day.

Blessings,
Sandi

A few of my very favorite things here -- tea, roses, a book, and chocolate! What could be better? What a find, too, at the thrift store!

Hello Sherry, I loved those pretty plates. I did make a chocolate cake
today. With a cocoa cream cheese frosting. I pinned a pretty picture from this post. I hope you have a great evening.
