Slow Cooker Orange Chicken

Slow Cooker Orange Chicken, The Charm of Home
I came across this recipe on a blog and I can't remember which one.  The flavors in this chicken were a hit with my guys, as I knew it would be.  The beast part about it is there are few ingredients, it's easy to make, and it tastes like Chinese food!

Ingredients:
4-5 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup orange marmalade
3/4 cup Sweet Baby Ray's original BBQ Sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce

Cook chicken breast in a slow cooker on high for 3 hours with a 1/2 cup water.
After it has cooked, drain the juices from the slow cooker.
Mix together the orange marmalade, BBQ  sauce, and soy sauce in a medium mixing bowl.  Pour sauce mix over chicken and cook 30 more minutes on high.
Serve hot.
Yields: 4-5 servings

I love this recipe and wouldn't think of putting these ingredients together for orange chicken but can see it working perfectly. Guess what's for tea then....!

Wow this sounds so good. Do you have to use frozen chicken??

Hi Sherry, thanks so very much for the sweet comment you left on my blog Little Brags on the loss of our Newfoundland Brucie. I wanted to reply directly to the comment but you came up as a non reply blogger. xoxoxo Christine

Happy Cottage Quilter,
I am editing that I just remembered that I do thaw the chicken breast out before I make this. I have used other recipes where I put the frozen chicken breast in the cooker but, it wasn't this one! Thanks for asking that question!
