Let the Holiday Baking Begin

I am in the mood for some holiday baking.  The first thing I wanted to make was a simple sugar cookie with cinnamon and I came across a nice recipe on Pinterest.  This is a basic sugar cookie that is nice to have around if some company comes over.  You can freeze the dough too and just thaw and bake when your ready for some hot cookies!  The recipe cannot be improved upon.   I made it just exactly as the recipe states.  It was a Martha Stewart recipe here is the link: Cinnamon Sugar Cookies.

Don't you like the teapot cookie shape!  You can get that cookie cutter from my sponsor Wholeport.  Just click the link to view.
The teacup is by American Atelier the pattern Athena.
Are you doing any holiday baking yet?
Thank you Wholeport for supplying this cookie cutter for this post!

How adorable your little teapot cookie cutter is! Your cookies look delicious too.

I'm so ready for some baking that I made two loaves of bread last Saturday, one orange-cranberry and the other pumpkin. So good!

Blessings!

Oh, Sherry, I love the sparkle of your Christmas lights in the background! Your Athena teacup is very pretty and those cookies do look good. I make sugar cookies all year round, but big ones with a raisin or two in the center. I sometimes make Christmas cut-outs for the kids. Thank you for sharing with us at Tea Time and have a wonderful week.

Blessings,
Sandi
