Baby Boo & a Giveaway Winner!

I happen to order an Abraham Darby David Austin English rose this year.   I have waited to buy this rose for about 20 years and it just happened to be a year of  drought like I have not seen in my lifetime.  But, I watered my rose, went out and knocked the rose beetles off of it, and the rose survived.  It not only survived, it has been so kind to have a new set of blossoms come on for fall.

I love the colors of fall but, this rose is so beautiful I couldn't let it bloom and not show it off.
Both photos were altered with a texture from Kim Klassen.

The winner of the My Memories Suite scrapbooking software giveaway is Deanna of Laurel Leaf Cottage!  Congrats Deanna!

There are so many roses I'd love to grow, but think our hot, humid summers may be too rough on these delicate beauties - I know in the next couple of years this rose will just dazzle you! I do appreciate you sharing with A Return to Loveliness,
Kathy
