Home Sweet Home #59

Hello and welcome to Home Sweet Home!  The weather here and in a good portion of North America has been unprecedented for an early spring.  This is my crabapple tree, it bloomed a few days ago and now the blossoms are falling off.  The daffodils just lasted a few days too.

I have this little herb garden outside the back door lined with some old vintage brick.

All of the herbs came back up.  Look at this parsley...it normally dies.  Just amazing spring weatherAnyway...

Now I would like to highlight some of the posts that caught my eye last week at Home Sweet Home.

Lakeshore Cottage Living remodeled her girl's room.  Isn't it cute!

Jody and Stan at Rooted in Thyme created this wonderful French Garden Chair.

Brooke at Start at Home shared this beautiful dining area makeover.

Thank you to all who join me at Home Sweet Home!   It is wonderful to have you here!

Very true about the weather Sherry. Flowers are blooming way earlier than normal in my part of the country too. I'm sure winter will hit abut the time we all start planting, and we'll all long for these warm days again.

Thanks for allowing us to link up to your party each week.

I used to have an herb garden, and I really want to do so again. Last year with our drought so extreme, we gave up on nearly everything. This year looks much more promising.

Loved your shout outs. They all look great!

Hi Sherry! I so miss the flowering crabapple that we had in the front yard of our old house. They are so beautiful when they're in full bloom. The lovely littel pink and white blossoms don't last very long, though. It's been extremely warm here for northeastern NY and we're starting to see some green grass and buds on the trees and shrubs. It couldn't have come too soon for me! :~)

Newly linking up to the party this week and newly following too. Thanks so much for hosting!

I didn't think of the downside of mild winter and early spring. I hope my daffodils last! they have been coming up since January. Last few days have been in the 70's and 80', it is a mind mender. Less than a month ago we had our last snow fall.

Wow, your herb garden really looks great. I had one in a pot on our back deck last year. That was fun!

The Dandilion on the blue wall is such a beautiful idea! I am curious how they came up with the graduation of sizes for the parts of the head.
Goes to take a look.
