The Year in Tea

I thought it might be nice to do a review, but I don't refinish many pieces of furniture.  The one thing I have been doing a lot of though is tea.  I started the tea posts for my Mom who always wanted to have tea time.  We don't live close but, I thought I could share some cyber tea.   The tea above was a French inspired tea, inspired by Carolyn Westbrook's book The French Inspired Home
A vintage Valentine table for February.

An Irish tea for March.

April seemed like a perfect time to get out the Limoges.

A Lily of the Valley tea for May.

My High Tea was in honor of Britain's Royal wedding of Prince William and Catherine.

A little nautical tea for July.

A quite tea for me in August.

Contemplating back to school in September.

A fall tea for October.

Blue and white for November.

And, one of my favorite props for December, my Dad's teddy bear.

Have you been making plans for 2012?  I have been contemplating new ideas.  If you were to look to the end of 2012 and pick out 12 photos for the year in review, what do you want them to be?

  23. Gorgeous! I have decided to set aside "tea time" for myself this year. I just love the whole concept and beauty of it.

(Might serve myself coffee sometimes, but I will still call it tea, by gum.)

My very favorite is that lily of the valley shot. I loved the one you did around the time of the wedding too. That was a masterpiece!

  35. Dearest Sherry,

Wow!.., What amazing teacup and teatime vignettes from amongst your fabulous collections of pictures taken over the past year. So creative, so beautiful, charming and very pretty!

Thank you so very much for so generously and kindly gracing our blogs with your various lovely Tuesday tea party links. Thanks also for visiting our blogs time and time again and leaving sweet words of comment and encouragement with your participation for our Tuesday Tea's for our, 'Teapot And Tea Things Tuesday', as well as for my, 'Tuesday Tea For Two', weekly blog tea party.

Pam and I are going to very much miss you as we leave blog land for quite a long while. This is due to very important personal reasons that were unforseen; (even two weeks ago).

Dear Pam and I had a long and friendly conversation just two days ago. Upon my informing Pam that I needed to 'bow out gracefully', from blogland for the forseeable future, she requested that I also send this message of deepest gratitude and regret on her behalf also. As I bid you a fond farewell and as we both leave you and other very lovely fellow bloggers for the time being my friend.

Have blessed New Year in 2012!

Hugs and blessings from Wanda Lee, (and Pam; Pam is from her own, 'Breath Of Fresh Air', blog.)
