Indian Summer

We have had a two week run of above normal temperatures.   My youngest and I took advantage of this and went to the lake for the afternoon.

The trees are starting to get pretty.  Some are at peak and others still green.

Our most famous resident was busy burying nuts for the winter.

Tiring of my attention he climbed a tree and had a snack.

The lake was noisy.  The Canadian geese were flying in on their sojourn south for the winter and they were honking loudly.

A perfect sunset for a perfect afternoon at the lake.

Don't think I have ever seen an albino squirrel, either.

Your fall photos are a wonderful reminder for me of fall. I grew up in New Hampshire and the colors were amazing also. I love your white squirrel. I did not know they came in white too:-))) I want one like that in my garden. We have small gray ones and I'd love to share my garden with yours.
Hugs,
Maryjane
