Moving Forward

I found a little teacup last week and it had some good advice on it.

The cup has, "A rolling stone gathers no moss," painted on it.

The saucer says, "Without going you can get nowhere."

Back to school time always has us moving forward each year.  Are you getting ready for fall?

this is such a neat tea cup...wow. I love the quote on it, so true in many many ways. Sometime going nowhere is ok, other times not so much it is all about where you are in life and one's perspective. I wish I would find a tea cup that says..."take a chill pill, you are overreacting" HA! I would use that cup every single day! :)

This may be a duplicate comment but I love your cup and the quote is great. I need a cup that says, "take a chill pill, you are overreacting" so if you see that tea cup pick it up for me and I will pay you back with interest! Hugs Trish

Beautiful photos! I see you used a textured background, yay! I am trying to learn to use them as well. Yours are beautifully done!
Now, your newest tea cup is so lovely, and the sentiment is really fab! The flowers and the colors are fantastic. What a great find!
Thank you so much for sharing. Does it happen to have a backstamp? Just wondering, guessing who made it.
Hugs,
Terri

Hi Sherry,
So nice of you to join me for tea. Wonderful teacup and I like the inscriptions on it; very cute! I love your white teapot too!

We're not quite ready for Fall as we feel we haven't had our Summer yet. It's the coldest and wettest we've had in years. :( A real disappointment for us beach people. Hoping the next few weeks will be warmer.
Have a lovely day.

Blessings,
Sandi

Hello Sherry,
When I first have read "Rolling Stones" in your cup , I thought about that they are not that old for such a tea cup, but then I realzied, it was something totally different. Oh my, how silly I am! This quotes are really true and the trio is beautiful. And so is the charming tea pot. Thank you for sharing this wonderful tea time.
Best greetings, Johanna

Sherry,
I love the quotes on your teacup. Do you think they were painted on by hand? I am so amazed when I see some of the calligraphy that people did by hand on some of the older cups. I suppose they have to be painted on with a brush and a paint that can be fired. I am also charmed by your teapot, too. Just adorable!!!
Loving this so much!
Fondly,
Suz
