Yesteryear Tea

I found a little violet chintz tea cup for Mom, as you'll remember I was still shopping for Mother's Day.  I know, I am way behind right now.  It makes a really pretty picture.  It reminds me of an issue of Victoria featuring violets.

I have edited the top two photos with the"yesteryear" texture by Kim Klassen.   This photo was untouched.  Thanks for joining me today!
I will join these sweet ladies, go and visit them:

This is so very beautiful - a very delicate teacup! Love violets - I was just looking at mine - they're about done for the year. I will have to pick some of the survivors and press them to remember them by!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful post with A Return to Loveliness,
Kathy

I love your teacups so much that I have become committed to go on a pretty tea cup hunt. I usually don't buy single items, but a tea cup alone from a set would just make for a lovely afternoon treat.

Hi Sherry, so cute presentation, the lilac in the cup with the small detail of the same color on the cake, looks lovely, is a visual reflection of harmony in colors, greetings, Rose Marie
