Home Sweet Home # 9

I stole this look.  I have had a long time love affair with Minna Mercke Schmidt's floral styling and photography on her blog Blomsterverkstad.  There is some kind of magic in the way the Nordic blogs can take the most common household item and make the most gorgeous still life with flowers.  I was recently looking at my Romantic Country magazine and saw this hyacinth bouquet and it was styled and photographed by none other then Minna of Blomsterverkstad.  Click that link to view her version of the hyacinth bouquet.

So, here is how I copied the look.  I took a tomato soup can and removed the label.  Then I applied Mod Podge and my typography I printed off of the The Graphics Fairy.

There you have it.  A little vase with inspiration from one of my favorite blogs for your spring decor.  The typography was antique and French, here is where you can get it.

I will link to these lovely blogs also.  Go and check them out.

What WAS I thinking when I just put all of those cans in the recycling? I'll have to do some cooking this weekend just so I can make a few of these :)) Thank you for such a sweet idea, and thank you for hosting!
