Home Sweet Home # 10

Welcome to the Home Sweet Home Party!  I have really been wanting to make this little rabbit for a special little one.   It was very thrifty I had all of the supplies.  I made it a rattle by putting two jingle bells in it's body.

The vintage eggs were some my Mom and I made years ago in a ceramics shop.  It was a fun way to make something for Easter.

Making my little rabbit look very old with some Kim Klassen textures.  The textures are called sweet treat and silence.

There is nothing sweeter than a little one's lovey, blanky, and a wee little book of Peter Rabbit.  Thank you for joining me today!
Sherry

The little bunny pattern was free too, at Martha Stewart.com. I reduced him to 100% instead of the 150% it would print at and he went together really quick. Easy pattern. Here is the link:

That second photo says it all -- the sweetness of childhood. It's very nostalgic. And who doesn't love that book? The colors are perfect, so comforting.

I found you at A Rosy Note today.

Hi Sherry, Your bunny is so sweet and there is nothing like a favorite blanky to make life happy! I have some easter ceramics that my mom made too. Ceramics was a favorite pastime of hers in the 70s and I remember her going out with her girlfriends every Wednesday night to be creative! Linda
