The Charm of Christmas

It always starts around Thanksgiving.  The excitement brews.  The boxes come out of their hiding spots.  The lights are always in an assortment of working order and tangles.

The trouble is always worth it.  To give our home that warm and welcoming feeling,

for the best celebration of the year.
And finally with some attention to detail, it slowly comes together.

With the decorating done, it is time to wrap presents and enjoy the family. :)
I will be joining these blogs, go and visit them.

You can view the post in movie format, it is under a minute.

Looks like you are all ready for Christmas. I'm still working on mine, so you can come finish it if you want to!

I really like the unexpected nest in the wreath and your nativity set.

Dear Sherry, Thanks for stopping in. I had to do three post's to get all my Favorite things listed. The New year I'm going to get a new blog so I can add as many pictures I want. My templete only allows five at a time. I also had to post early as I need to get to bed and off to work early in the morning. No time to post then.
Merry Christmas to you. I love your decorations. The young boy in the photo looks like he is having fun. I love your Nativity set. It's beautiful.Hope you come back to see my other post's...

Just gorgeous! So festive and cozy. I love the little candles on the tree. Your large wreath reminds me of mine over the fireplace, the way the ribbon is wrapped around. If only I knew how to make a lovely bow like that. :)

Sherry, I loved seeing your holiday decorations in a movie format -- what a precious thing that will be to your kids someday. I don't think we have photos of our mom's decorations. It was just perfect! Love your red furniture too and the red candles on the tree. Thanks for linking up to my "It's Your Wonderful Life" Party. Joni
