Fall Cloche Party

I am joining Marty at her blog A Stroll Thru Life for her Fall Cloche Party.  Marty has been very generous about her requirements for the Cloche Party.  I really don't own a cloche but, I used what I had to do some decorating so I could join in the fun.

I have several hurricanes shades I have used to make this centerpiece on my dining room table.

To fill in the hurricanes I used branches cut from my crabapple tree and I added some gourds I bought at the grocery.

The hurricanes were so tall I turned over some thrift store sherbets to act as a base for the pillar candles to sit on.

By using the sherbets you can see the pillar candle sits up a lot taller and fills out the hurricane shade.

Thank you Marty for hosting this fun party.  Please click on over and be inspired at A Stroll Thru Life for the Fall Cloche Party.
Just a hint of what's to come.
The creepy crawlies will come undone.

I love your hurricanes. What a clever idea to elevate the candles. Your berries around the candles are so pretty and I am just crazy about the gourds that you placed on the candlesticks. Your vignette is stunning. Love it. I am so thrilled you joined the party, this is such fun. Hugs, Marty

Marty says that anything that fits into something can be considered a cloche so what you are showing us is just perfect. I love that you used a glass to elevate your candle and then filled in with beautiful items from nature. Your post was everything I dreamed it could be, Char

Hi Sherry! Visiting from Marty's cloche party. I have hurricane shades just like that {I think I got them from an old office Christmas party and the boss let us take them}. I like the way you've used them here. They used to throw me because they were open at the top and the bottom. I have used them outside during the Summer months, too, at night for a little ambiance. The good thing about their size is it keeps any breeze from blowing out the candles. I will have to think of a way to use them inside though. Thanks for the inspiration!
