Sunflower Country Breakfast

As of lately, I have been intrigued by color. I think the seasons inspire me a lot, as does nature in general.  So, the fall colors just keep popping up everywhere.  This little breakfast table is out by the garden.  The riot of color in the flowers playing as the backdrop to my breakfast.
My centerpiece is some sunflowers in an urn with a pumpkin.  I wrapped some honeysuckle vine around the urn to look like fall foliage.  As much as I try to use Mary Carol Garrity's ( owner of Nell Hill's) tricks for tablescaping, I just can't bring myself to put as much on a table as she does.  I do love her style though.  I might just need a bigger table!

Sunflower plates by Maxcera the pattern is Terra Cotta Sunflower.

Matching mugs for your coffee.

A little flower on the inside rim of the mug.

Here comes fall!  By the time it finally cools off here, fall has turned rapidly into winter.  So, I like to drag fall out a little.  Once the kids get into school summer seems over.

Thanks for joining me for a little breakfast table by the garden.

Wow! What a pretty backdrop for your table. All of the colors are fantastic with the dishes. I love the sunflower theme. I'm a big fan of MCG and have a few of her books. It does seem she fits a lot on her tables!

I hope summer sticks around a little longer. I love fall but time is just flying by too fast!!

Have a great week! :-)

This has to be my favorite so far because of the sunflowers. I'm kinda partial to them as they are also my blog header ;) Your dishes are beautiful and the simplicity is stunning all in of itself.

This is one of my favorites so far this week. I love the dishes. They are VERY much up my alley. It was a great late summer/introduction to fall table with the terra cotta, yellow, and other vibrant colors.

I love the little sunflower inside the mug. Like a little surprise treat!

Saw this dinnerware over the weekend and couldn't make up my mind to buy them. Seeing your tablescape makes me regret that I didn't get them. I am going back to the store!!!

Sherry this is fantastic! The whole vignette/tablescape reminds me of fall - and boy could I use a big dose of that. :) I'm sick of the heat and humidity! I've heard wonderful things about Nell Hill but haven't had an opportunity to visit one in person - I'm going to have to convince Scott to find a way to take a road trip that way! Thanks so much for linking up this Friday, I'm SO glad you did, and I value your participation! Hope you'll link up next week too!
