Mosaic Monday: Wildflowers

I couldn't help but notice along the sides of the road how many beautiful wildflowers I have been seeing.  It seemed ashamed to let their beauty go to waste.  So, my youngest and I went on a wildflower expedition drive, great for bored children in the summer.  I drove slowly through the country and he pointed out potential wildflowers for the camera.  He was very good at spotting them.  So, this was our scavenger hunt finds.  We enjoyed getting out of the house and I hope you enjoy the flowers.
Having some fun with the kids has always been on the top of my summer agenda.
I will join The Tablescaper for Summer Sundays.
And, Little Red House for Mosaic Monday.

Gorgeous wildflowers. My mother had some that she had transplanted. I tried transplanting hers but they didn't do too well in our climate. The mosaic was a very nice touch. Have a wonderful Sunday.

That is a great way to get them involved and busy. You have some great wildflowers around you. We seem to have cultivated our way clear of any in our area.

I love wildflowers and your mosaic is beautiful! I wish I could grow wildflowers around the gazebo. I have pulled some alongside the road and planted them but I don't know if they will make it...Christine

I love wild flowers. In California you can not pick them of the road. It is against the law. Have a wonderful week. Blessings, Martha
